Following are the most frequently asked questions about the Agile Hardware affiliate program:
- What is an affiliate program?
An affiliate program allows one website to refer visitors to another website that is selling a product and get credit for any product that is purchased on that website from the referred visitors. So, in the case of our affiliate program, you link to our product from your website, and we pay you a commission from each sale from the visitors you send us!
- How do I sign up?
To sign up for our program, you must first read and agree to our operating agreement, and then fill out our application form. We will review your application and if accepted, you will receive an e-mail notification with your login information. Once you have that e-mail, you can log-in and start creating links, get HTML code for our images, and using our other content and tools to start earning money selling our software.
- Why should I sign up for your program?
First, your customers will benefit from Agile Hardware software by being able to better run their business. Second, you will make commissions for the referral (and often twice the normal amount during your first 90 days). Your visitors will be thrilled that they got such a helpful referral from you! It makes you look great and earns you cash.
- How much do you pay in commissions?
Agile Hardware pays 15% of the sale amount from each customer referred using your affiliate code. Depending on the type of software sold the amount earned at that rate is typically two or three times the flat fee paid by even the best of other similar affiliate programs.
- Do you pay out any type of bonus?
We currently have a quick-start bonus that doubles your commission (up to 30%) for anything sold within the first 90 days.
- How often do you pay your affiliates?
We pay all commissions over $25 twice a month electronically. However, if you prefer a check, then your commissions must meet a $100 minimum.
- How long does it take from referral to sale to getting paid?
We attempt to process all payments within 14 days of the date the sale was made.
- What sort of tools do you provide to your affiliates?
We provide example link types, banner images, button images, text links, e-mail copy, testimonials, suggestions on how to best sell our services, links to top-performing affiliates for examples, an affiliate newsletter, links to affiliate resources on the web, articles you can use on your site, and more.
- Can I get a commission for referring new affiliates to your program?
Yes. We offer a 5% second-tier affiliate commission when you refer a new affiliate to our program.
- How do I link to your site once I'm an affiliate?
After you sign up and are accepted, you will be able to log-in and see examples on how to link to us. It's very simple.
- Is there any cost to become an affiliate?
No, it's a free program.
- Do you pay commissions on all of your products?
We pay a commission on every sale listed within our commission schedule.
- How do I check my statistics to see how I am doing?
After you have been accepted into the program, you will be able to log-in to the Affiliate Center and see your sales and commission results. You can also choose to receive e-mail reports for each sale made.
- Can I use content from your site?
We provide content for you in the Affiliate Center. Please e-mail us if you would like to use content that is not within the affiliate center.
- Can I join your affiliate program if I am outside the United States?
Yes, we distribute our products worldwide and we have many international affiliates.
- What do the banner ads look like?
Banners are available to download after you join our affiliate program.
- How do I put a banner ad on my site and get credit for the sale?
Once you have logged in you will select the "Link Code" tab on the top menu. Below each banner ad there is HTML code. You can insert this code into your html and the graphic will show up which includes your personalized link code. You can also copy the personalized link code (without the html information) to a banner graphic that you place on your web site.
